Ambulance Dispatcher
Duties and Responsibility: Operate radio, telephone, or computer equipment at emergency response centers. Receive reports from the public of crimes, disturbances, fires, and medical or police emergencies. Relay information to law enforcement and emergency response personnel. May maintain contact with caller until responders arrive
Salary: The median annual wage for police, fire, and
ambulance dispatchers was $36,300 in May 2012.
Education
Requirements: High school diploma; approved training program
Reflection: I would not like to be a ambulance dispatcher because it is my
kind of job. Id prefer a job with physical work is needed
