What this quote means is that you should practice what is good and stay away from the bad. You can do this by telling your friends to clean up the school. At the same time you have to help and throw trash on the floor as well. If you tell your friends to keep the school clean and you throw trash to the floor then you will a hypocrite. You should do whats right so other can follow in your footsteps. You should be the one to set the example. You will influence them and teach them good.
