this quote means that even if you have physical features having a good heart is the best. If you are strong and don't have a good heart then you are strength gone to waste. If you have a good heart and weak then you are better than being strong with a bad heart. Having a good heart is the best characteristic you can have. It doesn't matter all the other physical features.
