final part 1 of 2

what i lied a bout this class is that you learn how to type and fluently. i also liked that i learned how to use more thing on word . like things like how to make a graph  and how to insert other things. i also like that thins class is always fun never boring. i liked to use typing tutor because it teaches you not to look down at your fingers. typing tutor also teached how to type fluently and the goal 40 words. what i didnt like was that the class is to long. i also didnt like to the same ting every time. the work was so reparative. we didnt do card checks very often.

things we can do to improve the class
  • we can do different activities
  • do car checks more often
  • more free time
  •  more visual learning

yes i did my best even though i caught myself missing around. mr.haymore also helped me stay on track by telling  me to keep going and doing my work. a few times mr.haymore got my attention but i got right back on track. mr.haymore would also help me choose the right by reminding me every time we left class even during class. i am committed to be a ctr person because this will help me be a better person. this can also take me to places by ctr.

IDP showcase

for juniors we did a mock interview. a mock interview is a job interview that is not real it is just preparing us for a real job interview. we had to come nicely dressed in a professional way. as if it were a real job interview. i had to answer questions of my personal life. one question was where do you see yourself in five through ten years. or why are you right for this job. i feel more prepared for a real job interview. i feel less nervous and less shy.

Right

                                                               "Always do right."
                                                                     Mark Twain
This quote means that no matter what you're going through you always have to choose the right. Doesn't matter if you stand alone. It's going to satisfy you. For example, if your in a group and they start bullying someone younger you can step away. You can also try to help the other person by taking him/ her with you or telling them to stop. Doing what's right gets you in good places. Don't hang out with people that do you no good. If you don't choose the right it gets you in bad places. You can lose your freedom because of that. if you do this then you will be a ctr person. if not then you will be know as bad person.

In bad company

"Its better to be alone than to be in bad company"
                                                                      Unknown

I agree with this because if you are alone you won't be tempted as much as when your with your friends. And if you are by yourself then you won't see anybody else doing bad things. if you see other people doing bad thing then most likely you will want to do the same. But if you were alone you won't see anybody doing bad things.that is why you should have good friend that don't do bad things. And sometimes your friend will offer you drugs or other bad things. sometimes you try something you friend gave you and your body reacts bad to you and  you get sick or ill. you friends will not help you out they will probably run and leave you there. that's why it is better to be alone.

If we do what's right, we have no need to fear

"If we do what's right, we have no need to fear."

                                ~Evan Stephens

what this quote means is that if you are a ctr person you won't have fear. You won't have fear because you know you are not doing any wrong or bad. a ctr person will always feel welcomed and well cherished. but if you are ctw person you will always have fear. they will have fear because they know they are doing something bad.they will also be in fear because they are scared of getting caught. that is why if you don't want fear you should be a ctr person.

The Three Questions

                                                          The Question
  1. Can people trust me to do the right thing?
  2. Am i committed to doing my very best?
  3. Do i treat people the way i want to be treated?
"If the answer to these questions are yass there is no way to fail."

I agree with this because people will be able to trust you. But if you said no then people can't trust you. With these thing you can reliable and people will like you. if not then people are just going to say you are a hassle. there are many reasons why you should follow these simple rules.  with thses rule you will be respected and will liked.

Don't do it Don't say it

"If it is not right don't do it; if it is not true do not say it."
                                                                  Marcus Aurelius
I agree with this because if it is not right and you do it then it is like you are choosing the wrong.  Also if you say something that is not true then it considered lying and that is choosing the wrong. you can't do something wrong and expect to feel good. the same as if you lie then you cant or cannot expect to feel good in your heart. your should not bad thing because then people will think that you are a bad person. the same as when you lie people will always know you as the liar. people are also think that you parents didn't teach you any better. as a ctr person you have to do the right thing. the same as to be a ctr you cannot lie at all. if you follow these simple rules then you will be a good person. people will know you as a ctr person.

thanksgiving

                                                                    Thanksgivings
In November 1621, after the Pilgrims’ first corn harvest proved successful, Governor William Bradford organized a celebratory feast and invited a group of the fledgling colony’s Native American allies, including the Wampanoag chief Massasoit. Now remembered as American’s “first Thanksgiving” .Although the Pilgrims themselves may not have used the term at the time the festival lasted for three days. While no record exists of the historic banquet’s exact menu .Historians have suggested that many of the dishes were likely prepared using traditional Native American spices and cooking methods. Because the Pilgrims had no oven and the Mayflower’s sugar supply had dwindled by the fall of 1621, the meal did not feature pies, cakes or other desserts, which have become a hallmark of contemporary celebrations.

Doing What is Right Fair and Honorable

"Doing what is Right, Fair and Honorable is More Important than Winning or Losing."
                                                                     Chick Moorman

I agree with this because this means that you a good conscious. And you have to chose the right and not cheat. If you know that you did wrong and you won then you will fell bad in the inside. Also if you were not fair and you won then you will also feel bad in the inside and you won't feel right. But if you are doing whats right and being fair and honorable and you lost then you will feel right in the inside. And you would have won on the inside. But if your your opponent won and they where not fair then they technically lost because they are going to feel bad in their inner self.

the 3 magic keys to living life with integrity

Have the courage to say no. have the  courage to face the truth.do the right thing because it is right.
                                                             W. Clement Stone

.I think that this quote is true because if you want to live your life with integrity because if you never learn how to stand up for yourself and say no then your not gong to be able to live your life with integrity. Here is an example when i was in middle school i had friends that would just use me to copy my homework and always like to push me around, but i thought that they were like that that they weren't just using me they were actually my friends. Then people in class started asking me, why are you friends with them if all they do is use me and i would always denied it because i was afraid that it would be true, and it was so i had to learn the hard way to say no and now i finally i know how to stand up for myself and say no when i know that its not the right thing to do .

Veterans Day

1.      Veterans Day is a anniversary of the end of World War I to honor US veterans and victims of all wars.
2.        November 11
3.      A time to express gratitude to those who have made great sacrifices to preserve our freedom.
4.      It is important to show Honor on Veterans Day because it show that you Respect and Thank those who have served or serving.
5.      Say “thank you.”   When you see a soldier or veteran eating at a restaurant, discretely tell the waiter/waitress that you’d like to pick up the tab for them. Place flowers/flags on the graves of veterans. Proudly display a American Flag. Attend a Veteran’s Day parade
6.

7.      What I think of this holiday is that it is a good honorabel holiday. I think that everyone in the U.S. should show some sort of respect. I think that we sholud have a special event for veterans. Everyone should take some time off to show some respect. Or even palce a U.S. flag on there front lawn or porche. You can even go visit a veteran that you may or may not know. Another reason I beavelive we should respect them is because they never know if they may ever die. They sacrifice there live for the U.S. to have freedom.

shall be wise

                                                                  Shall be wise
                                                                 Proverbs 13:30

I agree with this because that that means you should spend your time with the wise instead of with the fool. I agree because if you spend your time with a person who smokes the most likely you may smoke too.  If you spend your time with someone who reads a lot then most likely you may want to read more. This shows how the people around you are set examples. Not just the people set example the palaces and your soundings. If  you spend your time in a church then you are not going to be doing anything illegal.

To Do Good

"The Best Recreation Is To Do Good."
                                                                     William Penn

I agree with this because sometimes you work yourself a little to hard. I think it is good to get a break every once in awhile but not often because it may make you lazy. As time passes you will have to have breaks because if not you may get irritated and snap easily at others. Another reason i agree is because you have to do good not just be selfish and be kind every once in awhile. there are many ways to recreation like after school getting into a pool. this may help relax you bones and muscles. many people have diffrent way to recreation you have to realize that not everyone's the same. everyone has a different mentality this is why you have to have a open mind. you also have to give everybody to get a chance to share their mind out. every body should be treated equally not be rude at all.

Always

                                                               Always
"Right is right, even if even if everyone is against it; and wrong is wrong, even if everyone is against it."
                                                             William Penn
I agree because there may be times when your friends may tell you you are wrong and you know you are right. Also in religion everyone may say you are wrong because they may  have a different one so they try to tell you wrong and you know you are right. And if everyone one is against being right then that is a mob mentality. As a CTR  person you want to be a individual thinker not a mob thinker. A nob mentality is someone who goes with the crowed. As a CTR person you what to choose the right or the correct option and if you know it is not right then you should have a mob mentality. As a individual person you have to have your own standards. You don't have to have the same opinion as everybody else. And if you have your own standards then you will know how to defend yourself. So dont have a mob mentality be an individual thinker.

Health Educator

Duties and Responsibilities:  Heath educators create programs that encourage health and wellness, and prevent disease. They teach people how to make good health decisions, incorporate healthy activities into their lives and avoid harmful behaviors. Health educators may work in public health clinics, schools and colleges, hospitals or community centers. They are often employed by private health services providers, nonprofit organizations and government agencies. Health educators are often responsible for creating and implementing health education programs for the general public, as well as targeting at-risk populations, such as diabetes patients, expectant mothers and heart patients. Preparing presentations, conducting health screenings and patient outreach, and serving as point of contact for patients are typical duties.

Salary: Health educators earned a median annual wage of $47,490 in 2011, an increase of more than $1,500 over the previous year

Education: Most health educator jobs require a bachelor’s degree at minimum and some employers may prefer candidates who also are Certified Health Education Specialists, the BLS reports. Undergraduate fields of study include health promotion or health education, and often include an internship. In some cases, health educators may require a master’s degree, particularly for employment with state or federal public health agencies.

Reflection:  I would not want to be one because I am not in good shape myself

don't sacrifice what you want most

Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now. write down what you want most and see it often.
                                                                    Peter Vidmar

i agree because if you get want you want now it is most likely to not be a goo decision. Often when when you get what you want now you end  up regretting. And you will most likely to want to not make that decision. for  example some students say they want to drop out but when they do they realize they cant get a job. they cant get a job because you need a high school diploma. people some times wont let you get what you want now it is not because they are mean to you or don't like you it is because they don't want to see you in a bad estate. anther reason you don't get what you want now is because you are young .and when you are young you tend to make foolish decision. another reason you wouldn't like to get what you want now is because you will learn when you are older.

A Good Name

"A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches."
                                                                    Proverbs 22:1

I agree because having a good names good for you. it can uplift your spirit and help you set an example to other below you and less then you. another reason having a good name is because the teacher can call out your names during role call easily. another reason you want to have a good name is because you want people to have your name i there mouth all the time. but when they have your name in there mouth it s because of a good thing. you want people to use you as a good example. or also as a good comparison. it is better than having great riches because you want to be humble. it is better than great riches because great riches can leave or be wasted but a good name will never. and it is always good to have a humble heart.

Right

                                                                 Right
"If your so called friends urge you to do any thing you know to be wrong, you be the one to make a stand for right, even if you stand alone. Have the moral courage to be a light for others to follow."
                                                             Thomas S. Monson

I agree because you have to the light in the dark. like when you are scared of the dark you turn on the lights. you have to be the example the evil doing's. and just maybe you should not hang around with those so called friends. another reason i agree is because if you are not the light in the evil then you are just as bad as the people who are doing the evil doing's. and you want want to be as bad as those evil doers. you have to set the example because you know better than they do. a way you can set the example is by telling them not to do what they are doing. you can also be the light b telling them to choose the right. if not you will have to find knew friends because you don't want bad friends.

A CTR person

"A CTR champion is a person who makes a great human out of himself."
                                                                     Noemi Trigueros
I agree because if you don't make a good person out yourself then you are not a great CTR person. I also agree because a ctr person wont make a bad person out of them self.another reason is if you want to be a crt person you will live up to this.another reason i agree is because to be a champion you have to be a ctr person. and if you are not a ctr person then you will all ways have bad consequence. even if you are not always  a ctr person then you can always come and try better to be one.

Obedience

                                                               Obedience
"When obedience becomes our goal, it is no longer an irritation; instead of a stumbling block it becomes a building block."

I agree because once you have the hold of being obedient it is not problem. instead it becomes a good habit. and you can have a good attitude. you can also have a good mood.it cans also make you have manners if your are lacking any manners.in a way you can also be disciplined.in reality it is just a mental thing it can just fool your men-brain. another reason this is true is because you can learn other good habits. some times you just need to setal down and remember that that life isn't always fun and jokes.and  with obedience there are always good consequences.

Obedience

" Obedience is central to becoming, being, and remaining happy."
                                                    -----David Bednar-----

What this is saying is that obedience is like your target to becoming, being, and remaining happy. If you want to remain happy you have to obey because that is your central spot it is your target. When you have no obedience you're not happy because your not aiming at the center at your target. For example you want to have a really good day then you have to aim at your center/ target and be obedience and listen.

PRO FOOTBALL PLAYER

Duties and Responsibilities: As a footballer you would play as part of a team in a professional or semi-professional league.  Depending on the level you play at, you may have other responsibilities like giving media interviews, charity work and coaching. You’ll need to be a very competitive person but also work well in a team. You'll have to keep yourself very fit. Most professional footballers start learning football skills from around nine or ten years old. They tend to be spotted by club talent scouts playing for youth or school teams and offered a place at a club's Football Academy or Centre of Excellence.

Salary: Top salaries are going up all the time in the NFL, but as of 2011, the highest paid players made over $20 Million. These players included Peyton Manning at $23 million (according to Richest People for 2011; Spot Trac has him at $18 million for 2012), Eli Manning at $ 20.5 Million, and Donovan McNabb at $25 million
Education: Most pro football players spend at least three years playing college football to hone their skills as well as conform with a National Football League rule requiring the players be at least three years removed from their high school graduation before playing for the NFL. Given the short careers, big money and other issues that face young football players, a college education is one important type of education they should acquire. There are other types of education, aside from their time spent playing college football, that would benefit pro athletes immensely.

I would love to be a football payer

Dental Assistant

                                                     Dental Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities:  Dental assistants assist the dental operator (dentist or other treating dental auxiliary) in providing more efficient dental treatment, by preparing the patient for treatment, sterilizing instruments, passing instruments during the procedure, holding suction devices, exposing dental radio graphs, taking impressions, and fabricating provisional crowns. Dental operators can focus more time on the procedure; the dental assistant then effectively becomes the operator's extra hands.
            Salary: $28,691-$45,051
Education: In some states, dental assistants can work in the field without a college degree, while in other states; dental assistants must be licensed or registered. Dental assistants are required to meet the minimum certification to work in the field. There are many things that dental assistants must consider while working in the field and arguably the most important is infection control.
Add A Picture:

Reflection: Would you like to be one? Why? Why not?
I wouldn’t like to be a dental assistant because I would not get paid that much. Not only that but I don’t like being an assistant in anything. For example, when we do a project I don’t like being the assistant; I like to be the one who presents.

True wealth is of the heart not of the purse

"True wealth is of the heart, not of the purse."
                                                                   Pathros

What this is saying is that your wealth comes from your heart and from no where else. Your kindness, generosity, your love and everything else comes from your heart. When you are kind it comes from your heart it cant come from on where else because it comes from your heart. I think that means your heat and not your purse because your wealth doesn't always have to be money or stuff like that and it doesn't always have to come from your purse.

Obedience Boyd K. Packer

                               Obedience
"The key to freedom is obedience .The more obedience we are, the more freedom we have."
                                                                Boyd K. Packer

I agree because if you don't obey the law you can go to jail. Another reason i agree is because obedience is the latch key to success. Another reason i agree is because obedience shows respect. Another reason i agree is because with out obedience you are dishonorable. Another reason i agree you wont be able to maintain a job. And if you cant maintain a job the you will be a homeless bum. Another reason i agree is because your parents will be proud  of. Another reason i agree is because obedience can open opportunities. another reason i agree is because obedience can bring good consequences.
